Refund & Cancellation Policy
Paid plans are a single annual payment, not a recurring subscription - nothing is ever charged again without you actively choosing to buy another year. This page sets out what that means if you don’t renew, what happens to your firm’s data, and our position on refunds.
Try CS Desk before you pay
The Free plan is the trial. It is a working account with the full product in it - not a limited demo and not a countdown - so you can put your firm’s real work into CS Desk and judge it properly before any money changes hands. No card is needed to start.
We will also walk you through it before you commit - get in touch and we will show you the parts that matter to your practice, and answer questions about whether it fits how you work. If you are unsure whether CS Desk suits your setup, ask us before subscribing rather than after.
There is no subscription to cancel
A paid plan is one payment for a fixed twelve-month term, not a recurring subscription that charges your card again on its own. We do not keep a card on file, and nothing is ever charged without you actively choosing to buy another year - so there is no notice period, no cancellation fee, and no request needed to stop future charges, because none are scheduled in the first place.
If you simply do nothing, your firm keeps the paid plan for the rest of the term already paid for, then moves to the Free plan on its own when that term ends. Nothing further is ever charged.
Nothing is deleted when your plan ends
Every entity, director, filing, DSC record and task your firm entered stays in your account and stays readable on the Free plan. The Free plan’s limits only restrict adding beyond the free allowance - they never remove or lock what is already there, and exporting your own data keeps working on the Free plan too. Nothing your firm entered is held hostage to a payment.
If you would rather close the account entirely, ask us and we will delete it. We keep a recoverable copy for seven days in case the request was a mistake, and after that it is permanent.
Payments are not refundable
A payment already made is not refundable, including for a part-used term - the twelve months are paid for in full up front, regardless of how much of them you actually use. Because nothing renews automatically and no further charge ever happens without you choosing to buy again, there is no ongoing charge to stop or refund - the only payment in question is the one you already made, and it stands for the full term.
Because a paid plan is a twelve-month commitment paid up front, please use the Free plan first and satisfy yourself that CS Desk suits your practice. It is a working account with the full product in it, and it costs nothing.
This is why the Free plan exists and why we offer to walk you through the product first: we would rather you were sure before paying than seek a refund afterwards.
If something is not working
A refund is not the remedy for a technical problem, but support is - and it is included on every plan. If CS Desk is not behaving as it should, email hello.csdesk@gmail.com and we will work with you until it is resolved. Please include your firm’s CS Desk address (the yourfirm.csdesk.co.in part) and what you are seeing on screen.
Duplicate or mistaken charges
If you are charged twice for the same purchase, tell us and we will refund the duplicate in full. That is a billing error being corrected, not a refund of a payment you intended to make, and no time limit applies to it.
How an approved refund is paid
Where a refund is due under this policy, it is processed within five working days of approval and returned by the same method you paid with, through our payment provider. Your bank or card issuer usually takes a further five to seven working days to post the amount to your account, which is outside our control.
Your firm’s data is untouched throughout, and is never deleted or altered at any stage of this process.
